To all the people who are upset over their IH common test marks, don't be.
It's only one test, and studying real hard and doing well for the EOY paper will definitely compensate for this one.
So don't beat yourself up too hard.
Mrs Shum agrees it's a tough test anyway.

Anyway, hope everyone did well for the Science common test.

And Art is due tomorrow.

Do well, everyone.

The Internet is an icredible place, and one of the activities most of us use it to is to communicate. Most of us communicate and connect with either or both people we might or might not know. (For examples, Instant messaging (IM-ing), discussions on forums and communities or email-ing)
While doing so, we might get a little lax over online safety or think "It will never happen to me", which is a wrong attitude, especially if you frequent chat rooms. It's not uncommon to make "online friends". However, these "online friends" may not be who they seem. Online dangers and predators are always prevalent. It's rare, but it's real. We have to remain vigilant on taking precautions, measures and a dash of common sense to keep our online experiences enlightening, enjoyable and always safe.

If you do not know the person/people you are "talking" to ,
1. Never divulge on your personal information, like where you live, your phone numbers, passwords or where you go to school.
2. Ignore questions like "A/S/L?" or similar requests.
3. Never accept file or downloads. It could contain a virus or other undesirables. (Even if you know that person, confirm with him/her before accepting)
4. Never arrange to meet that person offline. Remember, anyone can pull off being a totally different person online. Don't believe everything you read. If you really want to meet that person, bring along an adult with you and meet in a public place.
5. Remember your netiquette and be nice. Think before you type. Don't get caught up in online arguments. Although healthy debates are okay, flaming is not.
